A split with the California grinders Abstain and Unholy Grave from Nagoya, Japan: There's no need for much rant here since both bands are known and records of them are posted here (Abstain's split w Nasum and split w Denak and Unholy Grave's Unreleased 7"). "Hate in the head/The fact" came out in 1998 by Agitate 96 Records in 514 pieces, green vinyl and delivers seven grinding anthems: Abstain bring three tracks of their hyperfast old school grind and Unholy Grave contribute four songs of mentally sick Jap grind. Abstain's cover artwork is the same with the '97 tour ep. You probably listened to the bands before and what you expect is familiar so there's nothing else to say about, only this: The lyrical content is the usual for Abstain but some of Unholy Grave's lyric lines are far from what could be described as a writing of some people who just express anger and wrath even if they are not deep in the topic: despite in some of the songs their lyrics are not bad, sometimes they seem to be be confused or irrelevant, i mean some lyrics seem to be written by a neoliberal or a conservative mind (read their stuff, lyrics are included inside for both bands). Anyway, just focus in the music and get the usual dose of grind.
That was the short rant, now go get it
