Here it is: my first post of the UK triad I promised - a long time ago, I know - to do next. The USB-out of my infamous preamp completely crapped out on me for a while there, but I eventually smartened up, got rid of the piece of junk commercial software I was using to rip things, switched to the awesome Audacity, & managed to record from the headphones jack without any further ado. Hopefully, this state of affairs will happily project itself into the foreseeable future.
That's that, & this is the first Manfat 7" from 1994 -
That's it - my shortest post ever. I'll only say that I do recommend this 7" rather strongly - it's still crust, but in a nicely adventurous/experimental way. One of my favorite 7"'s, really... Go get it & thanks for reading!

Billy I haven't had a chance to download and listen to this one yet. I did want to take a second though and remind you of how cool I think your blog is. You are always moving forward with this blog, your rips and what you have to say. I appreciate your time and effort, thanx dude.
Justin thanks for the comment and your kind words but the credits for this post go to Whispy. we are 2 people posting here.. :)
hey, I read everything you write here, dl rarely because I get sick of crust but like your blog much.
cheers man.
croatian ex-crust hordes are with you:).

Axegrinder: thanks for the awesome comment, you made my day! Is there any chance to hook us up with some unheard of ex-yugo punk/HC wonders? I love that scene (including Dead Ideas, where you left a comment some time ago)...
Billy: it's common knowledge that we're not really two different people but rather one is a schizoid offshoot/persona of the other. & since I came in second...
well, Dr Jekyll, sine this rip problem is solved and many ep's of yours are on the way to this blog, your humble servant Mr Hyde is going on holidays, you take over sweetheart, see you next month...;)
cheers lol
I recently found your blog...Frickin' excellent guys! Yet, I really don't know what to make of this one. Different approach, but I'm not really into it. Thanx, great work.
btw, the jack output sounds fine...I've been known to do the same. excellent quality rip.
Ah, that's great to know, leon! I did some noise removal b/c there was a lot of hiss (didn't have to do it in the next one I ripped, since the noise there is overpowering, haha!) but tried to keep it modest. The funny part is I had to do noise removal TWICE with Audacity, since the first time introduces artifacts into the recording which the second one removes - weird. But anyway, these are things better left for a tech forum. Glad you all liked the work. (As for the person whose alter ego I embody, there's no vacation scheduled for you - give us a call again in 2009 though!)

Whispy I'm sorry for not giving you the credit on this one. Please carry on with the goodness and many thanx to you sir for your energy.
Hahaha, no problem justin! Billy shouldn't have even mentioned it - we're all in this together & I'm happy enough to simply contribute to the blog as things stand. Speaking of which, there should be another post tonight!
Killer release! How the Hell did I miss this one all these years?
By the way, you guys really do an Amazing job.
important!
bri from doom was never in manfat! it's a totally different bri.
this bri was one of the singers in the crust band embittered in the early 90s before manfat formed and then later sung in john holmes (orig feat sned on drums & did an album on flat earth recs late 90s) and now sings in a band called goatspeed.
thanks for setting things clear,i edited the post.i always believed too it was Bri of Doom...
Is it possible to re-upload this please?
Thanks!
