Severed Head of State-Jedem das Seine 7''

Severed Head of State hail from Portland, Oregon and Austin, Texas, with members playing formerly and currently in other bands such as World Burns To Death, J Church, Tragedy, Warcry,Defiance and others (a family tree of Portland crust bands would be very interesting..). This is "Jedem das seine" 7" (sometimes referred to as "Future soldier" 7"), it means "To Each His Own" & was inscripted on the gate of the Buchenwald concentration camp in World War II but taking a look at the society we are living, the same phrase seems to be is the guiding light for the neo-liberal scums
The record was released in 2002 by Ebullition Records and it's out of print (though some other SHoS records are still available). There are four tracks here that deliver 7:45" of fast and powerful crusty hardcore with influences from Swedish scene. The sound quality is dissent and the band moves most of the time in fast pace. SHOS sound to me like a more hardcore of early World Burns to Death. About a year ago Jack Controls' was stabbed and the hit just missed the heart by inches.
